I first took my classic car to Trickett for undersealing only. Since then they have carried out a small repair to one of the doors and done a considerable amount of mechanical repairs and maintenance. Their work is always of a very high standard and Nigel always keeps me informed as to progress made as well as the timescale of the job. Each task is broken down into labour cost and materials involved and there are no “hidden costs”. Their bills are always fully explained to me when the job is finished, which is usually always on schedule, except for the rare occasions when unforeseen items need attention or there is a delay in receiving the spare parts – which is beyond Nigel’s control. Another very satisfied customer!

I spoke to Trickett Welding regarding my exhaust as it appeared to be ‘roaring’. I was expecting to have to replace the whole exhaust system but Trickett Welding offered to take a look, as many exhausts can be repaired rather than replaced. After discovering two splits in my exhaust system, Nigel repaired them immediately and I was back on the road within the hour – minus the noise! As a new driver, when something goes wrong with your car, you are in a very vulnerable position, so it has been very reassuring to find a company as honest and professional as Trickett Welding. I have happily recommended you to friends and family, and will definitely come to you next time I have an issue with my car.

My 1993 Calibra was on deaths door and I was almost forced to scrap my much loved car untill I was introduced to the guys at Trickett welding, they were friendly, very helpfull, honest and set my nerves and anxiety at ease, I have had very bad experiences with garages and have been ripped off many a time, but Tricketts are not at all of that nature, I have reccomended friends to them because of there friendly nature and they are such perfectionists in every aspect of there work, no job to small, I had my rear wheel arches replaced and a respray on the back panels, I have a custom paint job and every other place I went said ide have to spend around £2000-£3000 respraying the whole car because they couldnt match the one of a kind colour… but Tricketts did! infact the spray job was much better than the original and now I have no worries if it gets scratched or dented because I trust them to bring it back to life, Thankyou so much guys its so nice not to be stressed out when my car has trouble. I will be back, even if it is to say hello,

Trickett Welding (Poole) Ltd have done a considerable amount of remedial bodywork on my car, a lot of which was ‘bodged’ by the Co. that I used before. They have been totally honest with the work, have not pressured me into doing work that was not required and have carried out the work to the highest standard. They did further work without charge on one occasion without any fuss. The service I receive includes collecting and delivering my car from my house and they have gone to great lengths to source spare parts which are now in short supply. I have also had mechanical work undertaken which includes MOT and remedial work, all of which has been done with full consultation with myself including explanations where required. The Invoices I have paid have been large, but fair as I have had a lot of work done. My only regret is that I did not find Trickett Welding ten years ago as I would have saved a considerable sum of money and had work carried out to a far higher standard. I would recommend Trickett Welding (Poole) Ltd to any person with an older vehicle who appreciates a personal and friendly top quality value for money service.
